Sephiroth's plan is to create a wound in the Planet so large the Lifestream will be sent en masse to heal it where Sephiroth would intercept it and take control of the world.

Once a Limit gauge fills, the Attack command is replaced with "Limit", and a character has access to one of their specific Limit abilities (depending on their current Limit level and unlocked Limit abilities). Unlike the battle abilities provided by Materia, each Limit is character-specific with unique effects varying from dealing physical or magical damage to providing healing and buffs, which factor in different stats.

Game was insulting and childish. WHAT WAS SQUARE ENIX THINKING? The constant hand holding, the goofy cut scenes every 5 mins was a huge barrier in enjoying this game. I was expecting a literal 1:1 scene remake the entire way through. The story is there, now us Millennials who enjoyed this game while young, we wanted a good remake of this story. I'm morbidly disappointed in FF7 Remake. I love Final Fantasy so much I'm still wiling to support and buy their games, but gone are the days of great story telling and adventure. I recently got the PS5, played Elden Ring while waiting for this game.

Square Enix is also releasing a pricy collector's edition that comes with the game itself, plus the following extras (according to the listing):

Tifa awakes in Junon seven days later and finds a world in chaos: a meteorite looms over the sky, a sign of the impending end of the world. Sephiroth has surrounded the North Crater with a barrier preventing either Shinra or the Weapons from attacking his true body, and the creatures have taken to attacking Shinra's sites of power instead.

The track has been called Uematsu's "most recognizable contribution" to the music of the Final Fantasy series, which Uematsu agrees with.[37][71] Inspired by The Rite of Spring by Igor Stravinsky to make a more "classical" track, and by rock and roll music from the late 1960s and early 1970s to make an orchestral track with a "destructive impact", he spent two weeks composing short unconnected musical phrases, and then arranged them together into "One-Winged Angel", an approach he had never used before.[37]

Final Fantasy VII received widespread commercial and critical success and remains widely regarded as a landmark title, and it is regarded as one of the most influential and greatest video games ever made. The title won numerous Game of the Year awards and was acknowledged for boosting the sales of the PlayStation and popularizing Japanese role-playing games worldwide. Critics praised its graphics, gameplay, story, and music, which is considered to be one of the best video game soundtracks of all time.

Eight were reserved for sound effects, leaving sixteen available for the music.[44] Uematsu's approach to composing the game's music was to treat it like a film soundtrack and compose music that reflected the mood of the scenes, rather than trying to make strong melodies to "define the game", as he felt that approach would come across too strong when placed alongside the game's new 3D visuals. As an example, he composed the track intended for the scene in the game where Aerith Gainsborough is killed to be "sad but beautiful", rather than more overtly emotional, creating what he felt was a more understated feeling.[37] Uematsu additionally said that the soundtrack had a feel of "realism", which also prevented him from using "exorbitant, crazy music".[70]

Their mission concluded, Cloud and the others disembark at the Sector 7 slums. Situated below the plate, pelo natural sunlight reaches the town, but despite its bleak appearance, this is where the members of Avalanche call home.

The main final fantasy vii characters were adjusted in various ways for Remake. Rather than the "cool and collected" Cloud as seen in other games, Remake depicts his apathetic attitude as a façade to mask his insecurities. Nojima wanted to convey that his standoffishness could be seen as lame.[54] Cloud's initial redesign for Remake departed more dramatically from the original's, but was later altered to more closely resemble Nomura's design.[43] Tifa's desire for revenge against Shinra is complicated by her reluctance to enact violence. Barret's passion and charisma rallies other characters to follow his lead.[54] Nojima worked hard to make the interactions between these three conterraneo.[55] It was important to Hamaguchi to include a scene wherein Cloud has an intimate conversation with one of his teammates based on the player's choices in homage to the "date" scene from the original game.

Although Tifa knew it to be longer than that, she had never confronted him, instead asking him to join AVALANCHE so she would have more time to decide what to do and to keep an eye on him and his strange behavior.
